My friend Amber & I took are boys to the West Jordan Park the other day. Had a picnic and went to play. I love this park for one reason because it is behind the court house and is under 24 hour surveillance so you feel like your kids are safe to play there. w/out PREDATORS if you know what i mean. :)

I Love Him

As some of you know Kayden & I have been having a really hard time lately. He is getting older & is old enough to realize what is going on between his mom, dad, & me. We both are getting so many mixed emotions that instead of talking about it we fought all the time. Well i finally i got the courage yesterday night to sit and talk with him, because instead of talking to him i was talking to everyone else about are problems, & that was not right.

So i sat down with him & I told him i know it is not easy not having your mom around a lot it is hard on you that she is never around when you go over to visit, but i am always going to be here for you no matter what the situation. I may not be Tasha *your mom* but i am your step mom and you can talk to me about anything. its not easy being a step mom and step son, but we can change that if we just listen to one another and do as asked things will be so much more simple. I love You Kayden and i would hate to see you hate me because of some differences that we have.

before i could finish my sentence he gave me a huge hug and told me that he loved me and i just shredded into tears.

I should not of told him the things i said, but i got so angry with him i didn't know what else to do, & all i had to do was sit down with him and talk to him. :( Am I a bad step mom? Do i not deserve to have him around me?

it is so hard to be a parent to someone else kid and try to make them as happy as possible so they don't feel like they are being neglected. Now that i look back yes i was a little hard on him and never listened to what he had to say. If i had just listened then we never would have been in this situation. From now on when he needs to talk i will sit with him and talk with him, because this past month or so has been HORRID and i don't want that again. I Love Him.

Birthday Fun

Hallie had two parties for her birthday, a family party and her frind party. I was able to go to both of them. I had so much fun. that fun doesnt even describe it good enough. This is the most i have seen her in awhile. The best part is i get to see her agian in a few days. anyways here a few pictures i would like to share with you. :)

My Hallie is going to be turning 4 this Saturday. I cant believe that 4 years ago i placed her to the Swensen Family. It feels like not even a few months ago she was just a little baby i took home with me for like a week and placed her with this wonderful family i could never even think to replace.

Hallie:

We picked your family because we knew they would love you,

Bear Lake

Well I learned my lesson

Even though I'm not mad at someone or have nothing against them to talk anyway even if there is nothing to talk about. HA HA *oh and don't roll your eyes. I didn't know that some people could take it the wrong way when to me its just teasing and being a dork i guess is the way to put it, but all in all it worked out and I'm glad that nobody is mad at me in the end. :) i love people and everyone although my sister can be a tard and i do get mad at her easy. :P

So here i am at bear lake having a blast and loving every min of it. It is so pretty out here. Even though it has been raining off and on we went out to the beach of bear lake and walked around and watch the CRAZY people jump into the freezing water. Took some really cute pictures of everyone, will post them in a later post.

i don't want to go home, i could live here. Although if you want a get away home it is still under construction it is going for 98,000 the out side is finished, but the inside still needs counters and what not. It's really pretty VIEW!!! :) how about we all pitch in and fix it up and make it the SUMMER VACATION SPOT!! sounds good to me. Well i got people hoovering over me to use the Internet so best get going. Will post more in awhile hope you had a wonderful weekend.

SAD

My little sister is all grown up. :( Danielle's graduation was today a very exciting thing, but also a very sad one at that. Now its off to college. What ever will i do without my little sister. Yes no more fighting, but the fighting is what makes it so much fun and to be honest I'm going to miss it. Getting older isn't so bad ya know, its watching your siblings get older and move on with their own lives. :(

Dance

Isn't she just the most beautiful thing you have ever seen? Saturday Hallie and her sister had a Dance Recital and i got to go.

I love that i get to be involved in the little and big things in her life. :)
