Christmas

I love this time of year especially now that i have my own house. we got are first tree up in are first home, & it was so exciting. :D It is not the best tree ever, but it is my tree, & that is all that matters.

Every year we are going to make a tradition to go pick one ornament a year for a tree, Kayden picked this snowman baseball ornament. Really cute ain't it????

MY NOGGIN 8-b

We are officially moved in except KAYDEN's room. Its mainly toys & i really don't want to bother with them right now. HA HA he has been spending time with me & we have been having so much fun, I'm really not ready to get out those darn toys yet, BOY toys are not so much fun for me. :D. I still have yet to take pictures, & i do have some but i am EMBARRASSED by them because how my house is set up is not how i imagined my home to be, it depresses me & is something i am going to have to get used tooooooo EVENTUALLY.

My head says

"Jordann don't get sad & depressed now its your first house & this is to be expected & in time it will be as you dreamed it to be".

I say

" I know Brain, but when you see so many of your friends & families homes you wish it could look like their home & SO nervous to have people over because, what if it doesn't meet there EXPECTATIONS".

Brain says

" Well Jordann its your 1st house & if they don't like it then you should not invite them over ever again, people should love you for who you are & not what you have.

I Say

" YOUR RIGHT" But I'm going to have to make a huge Santa letter this year". :)

Brain Says

"Yeah, but i do it every year and + it makes me feel better to make a wish list of things

This year i have been a REALLY REALLY good girl. See we just bought a new house & it needs a little UMPH to it, its a little dull needs some sweet TENDER Santa TLC. HA HA so if you could get me a cute little Gift card to a decor store that would be wonderful so i could buy me some cute things for my DULL home that needs a little UMPH. Thank you

Good News.

WE ARE OFFICIALLY FIRST TIME HOME BUYERS WAHOO. We get are Keys on Wednesday & we can start moving in. So excited. YAY we have been waiting for this day for well 4 ever. Post pictures soon. May be a while before i get on. We wont have Internet at are home for a little while. :)

Post # 1 Pumpkin Carving

I love doing the pumpkin carving stuff, the feeling of all the GOOIeness is just SOO cool. Anyway this yer we didn't make to much of a big deal i think with it just being a hectic year and all, but we did carve a few. :) Kayden had fun. And Halloween was AWESOME. This year.

This one didnt turn out all that great, but i do like the windows. :)

Post #2 Halloween.

Chris's birthday was October 30Th his friends had a Halloween party for his birthday, his friends birthday & well for Halloween as well so it was a party for everything pretty much. There were tons of people there. It was so much fun. They even had BEER PONG there. Pretty interesting if i do say so myself, the game aggressive and Chris & his Buddy had to kick them out before they ruined the party. GEES those party poopers. We all had to dress up and it was so much fun. :) Chris went as some killer i was a Zombie house wife and Danielle went as a GIRL BOXER. OH cant forget about the DOG HA HA SO Memphis is a boy, but we totally think he is Gay because he likes boy dogs so we dressed him up as a GIRL. The dress says " Born With Style"

Post #3New House.

Not the best picture, but it will do, the inside is SO much better. :) Well here is are 4TH home that we put an offer on and this one is looking more promising than the others. So we will see. We have gotten a lot further in the paper work, and have a LOAN ready to go, so now we wait for the appraiser to go through and tell us how much the house really is worth. This home built in 1981, 2100 sq ft 3 bedrooms. 1 full bath up stairs and a quarter bath on the main floor. Unfinished basement, really nice size back yard kinda a small kitchen. Has new paint, new carpet, and some things have been remodeled so less things we would have to tinker with. :) Will let you know more when i find out. Not going to get to excited, cause then i just get BUTT hurt and hate myself for it, but i really do like this one more than the others. :)

Holidays

This is my favorite time of the year, although everything is close together and gets really CRAZY around this time. I sill LOVE it. I get to take Kayden out for Halloween so he can get all the candy he wants that never gets eaten because i am anal about his teeth but still has fun going door to door. Then comes November *Thanksgiving* my FAVORITE get to eat lots of TURKEY this is the one year when i don't feel guilty for eating to much FOOD. December *Christmas*. The time when we all get together over at my aunts and watch movies and hangout with everyone i love that i am so close t my family, and we would do anything for each other if one needs help NO QUESTIONS asked okay maybe a few questions but they help. I am just so Happy i have AWESOME people in my life.

Slacker.

Kayden has been sick the past few days and finally made it school even though there is only 2 days left tell the weekend, but he is going atleast.

Kayden is turning 6 on Sunday. I cant believe how much he has grown over the past 4 years i have known him. He is such a good kid. This year we are going to have a Halloween Pajama party for his Birthday. I am really excited about it and hope that it turns out the way i have it planned in my head. :) Although it never does go as planned, but i can still keep wishing.

We had are mommy lunch this month we went to Mimi's Cafe it was so much fun. I love going on are lunches. It is so special to me the love i have have for this Family, and for Hallie's Parents ESPECIALLY, The 3 of us Birthmoms have it so good. :)

Still on the verge of looking for houses. I'm really hoping that we get into something soon, or I'm going to go CRAZY!!!! I'm Praying just about every night, hoping that something will come along. :) If it doesn't i guess i will live and will have to try again and again and again.

A Time& place for everything.

So while doing my shopping at the store i had to use the ladies room, and let me tell you i really hate using public restrooms, who knows what or who's kind of bum has been there, even when you have pieces of toilet paper all over the set cause the toilet paper kept ripping really short and you are bouncing up and down trying to hold it while you set them carefully on the set and make sure you got ever square inch of the seat. Normally people would say just hoover over the toilet, but as you know i have short legs and hoovering over the toilet is not easy for me. Thanks for the people who made the bathrooms, which were probably tall people not thinking inside the SMALL box. YUK & to top it off when you go to wash your hands ya gotta get 3 sheets of paper towels one to turn On & Off the faucet, the 2ND one to pull the lever for more paper towels and he 3rd to open the door. WHAT A PAIN, & the only reason you do this cause 1 you don't know if someone peed all over there hands & didn't wash them, 2 some terrorist from another country could of put some poison all over the bathroom, & 3 well because ITS DIRTY even when it looks clean it is DIRTY.

Some bathrooms have the toilet paper seat cover now, but some don't. I think we should protest on this and make sure EVERY bathroom has one in each stall don't you?

Dumb Boy Thing.

I told Kayden to let the dog off of his leash i go inside and help my mom with the computer and i hear Kayden screaming bloody murder. SO i open the back porch door and Kayden is standing there holding his eye i scream out to him "WHAT IS THE MATTER" My eye my eye my eye so i run down the steps and pull Kaydens hand away from his eye and this dog leash hook thingy is hooked to his FREAKING eye. I mean it was way in there like "why the heck did you do that in there?" So i take Kaydens eye lid pull it out and unhook the leash in his eye. its red bruised and man oh man i bet that hurt. SO i take him to his Doctor.

He uses a fluorescent drop gel stuff to see if his cornea was scraped and it wasn't.

Thank goodness gave us a prescription of eye drops to make sure there is no infection and sends us on our way.

Adoption!

I cant imagine how hard it is to be an adoptive mom who has an open adoption with the their birth moms. Just thinking whether you had done something right or wrong? Are you raising them the way the Birthmoms wanted them to be raised? Is there something else you could have done better? Am i doing the right thing by having an open adoption? * well i guess the whole are you raising them the way the Birthmoms want is a little over board, but that was the only way i could think of it so don't take that question the wrong way* :)

Well the answer to those questions, there isn't anything you could do wrong, you raise them the way you were raised, you teach them the way they should be taught, you discipline them the way they need to be disciplined. There is nothing you could have done to make it better or worse we chose you to be there mom we had a connection that just kept telling us you were the one and no one else was going to give us that feeling of relief, because you had the qualities and things that we didn't have at that time. An open adoption just means they get to know two different kinds of parents, they will know you by the parents who loves them kisses them takes care of them makes sure they get ever cut and scrap kissed and I someone special in their lives.

Being a Birthmom is so special to me. Not only do i get weird looks from people saying you have a daughter? and that they would like to meet this wonderful girl and her family, but i tell everyone my amazing experience how i chose this family that i get pictures, and i get to be there for every Birthday, Christmas, and any other special occasion that they invite me too i have the best relationship with this family, that i could have ever dreamed possible sometimes i wish i was little and Shannon and Jeff adopted me i love them so much. * Shannon i want a pony too* :P and do i get to sleep in the room next to yours too* HEHE. There is one question i get the most from people and that is "Do you regret making this decision?" absolutely NOT!. Well why because there are people out there who have made the wrong decision by keeping there baby and are paying for it RIGHT now because they cant take care of themselves let alone take care of their child, and i wasn't going to be one of those people who struggled and watches their child struggle as well.

Hallie is where she needs to be, and the best part she is SEALED to her heavenly father & Parents for eternity, she is where she is today because of 3 people Shannon, Jeff, & I. She has been taken care of so well i couldn't ask for anything more.

I love you SWENSEN family. :)

NAUGHT NAUGHTY!!!!

I ran into a temptation, me & cheesecake go back. I LOVE IT!! & i don't think i could ever turn down this wonderful delicious thing. IT COMPLETES ME. So as it was sitting there calling me i couldn't resist & took a bit and that bit ended up being a another and then another. and the next thing i noticed it was gone. I look around me and couldn't figure out for the life of me of where it all went. * DUH Jordann you ate it all* o i have been having a hard time with weight for while and finally am doing something about it, and when i lose 10 lbs i go and do something like this GEES la WEES i don't think a day at the gym is going to fix this i am going to have to stay ALL DAY AT THE gym to burn all these calories.

So as far as i know we are closing October 28Th. :), but could be sooner because the lady who lives in the home now, needs to get to California soon and get to her family she is getting to old to take care of herself. SO for all of you who were and are rooting for us, and have been there for me through everything WE DID IT!!! :) Thanks for listening to all my blabbing and what not. it has helped to just get everything off my chest. WAHOO I AM SO EXCITED to be finally getting my own home and couldn't have been at a more perfect time close to Halloween and Christmas. Going to have are first Halloween & Christmas oh wait cant forget Thanksgiving in are first home.

I love Music. Music is stimulating to the brain. I have found that listening to music every morning gets my-self motivated and i usually get things done not only that, but it is calming, and i find I'm not in a grumpy mood. It is said that listening to the right song can change the way you feel everyday. So you listen to a sad song you are more likely to be in a sad gloomy kinda way, you listen to some hard core stuff you are likely to be aggressive and so forth i don't know if this is how it really is, but it makes sense. :)

This is so CREEEPY!!!!!

I don't know what i was doing when i found this, but i have always been intrigued by the paranormal. I love watching Ghost Hunters, Paranormal State, Ghost Adventures etc... One day it would be a lot of fun to get a group of people & go investigating in a haunted house or some haunted place "Like Ted Bundies" My Sister has told me that place is pretty creepy. :) Be sure to mute my music at the bottom of my page. There isn't anyone talking in this video, but its better when you have the sound effects ya know.

The Best Spa Ever!

This place is wonderful a place i could have never imagined before. Outside A mineral pool that is the perfect temperature, you could sit in for hours and just relax, & do absolutely nothing, think about nothing, just relax and hangout with the gals.
Inside this palace like place there is the best service you could ever have. Massage Therapists there to give you the Best Massage You have ever had. You can feel it now, FEELS OH SO GOOD you wished it would never end.
Down the hall and to the right there is a relax room with the most comfortable lounge seats ever, lavender tea, and some refreshments and the best room service in town. A spa no one has ever dreamed of a place that celebrities would go to. Go and get there wonderful Salt Scrub and they Gently exfoliate and soften your skin, using healing mineral salt from the Great Salt Lake Basin, and avocado, sesame, apricot kernel, and jojoba oils. After a rinse, each scrub concludes with a luxurious moisturizing treatment.

Mom what are you doing. Kayden I'm relaxing I'm imagining that I am at the best spa in the whole world. Your weird. Yes, but it never hurts to wish & Dream. :)

Back To School

I can not Believe how fast this Summer has flown by. It feels like we have done nothing this summer to enjoy it, but really we have. We went Swimming, went to Lagoon, went Swimming, The park, birthday parties, Swimming, Movies,Swimming etc...., but this whole summer i think Kayden was more excited to start school then anything. :)

Kayden has started Kindergarten this year & so far loves it.

Last year when he was in Preschool there was not enough competition in the class so it was kind of boring to him, but this year he really has to use his noggin and loves it.

He loves his Teacher a lot, and gets along with the kids in his class, Yesterday when we went to pick him up from school, he says " guess what Mom & Dad i have a girl friend already and it has only been 2 days".

Chris tells him" WHAT you have a girl friend and we have not even met her yet". HA HA HA Kayden laughs.

Im really looking forward to see how Kayden progresses this year.

Before he started school, they had him take a test to see where he was at and what not he did pretty good tell he got to the number TWENTY then he just started guessing, but she said that was normal for some.

So if your in the area and want a Romantic place to stay for a night or two i would go to Castle Creek Inn. :) There Breakfast was WONDERFUL the workers there really nice. :)

Dont forget The Free Snacks either *all night* . :) and drinks. Oh and movies. :)

Possiable New Home.

Yes i said it, Its possible. We are the only ones who have put an offer in on it, * KNOCK ON WOOD* and it has been on the market for 165 days. Went from 159,900 to 129,900 how cool is that? The Realtor said it would be a few days before we hear from the sellers because they are out of the country right now. So hopefully we will hear back by Tomorrow * Wednesday* or by Thursday. :) I'm really hoping this is it.

This home needs a little work, some new paint and throw some carpet over the wood flooring and it would look better than ever.

I try not to get to excited about this kind of stuff, but it is hard not to.

The best thing about this place is:

1 it is 2 blocks from the school

2 across the street there is a family with 6 kids and of the 6, 3 of them are around Kaydens age, not to mention the other 12 dozen down the street.

3 there is a park right kiddy corner from the house.

4 Yard work, Chris wanted a house with yard work. :)

5 My kitchen I'm picky when it comes to the kitchen and i should be a kitchen is where family gets together and hangs out who wants to hangout in a kitchen that is ugly???? this kitchen has granite counter tops BRAND SPANKEN NEW!!!!

the cabinets are the real solid wood, this is a kitchen i wouldn't be embarrassed about having my family.

Happy Anniversary!

Okay not tell tomorrow, but still how much longer can i wait to tell everyone WE MADE IT A YEAR! YAY!!! I LOVE HIM.

So as i was standing in front of the mirror in my towel doing my normal face makings in the mirror Chris walks in with flowers. Ho cute is that. * well to me CHEESY* but still he is a cheesy kind of guy.

So for are Anniversary we are gong to a Bed & Breakfast @ the Castle Creek Inn I'm so excited. :) Happy 1 yr to me. :)

Mommy Lunch!!

Last Saturday we had are mommy lunch it has been a few months since we have done this so i got us all together & we all met at the Olive Garden *I LOVE THIS PLACE* This time some of us brought are other moms so it was just one big table full of moms, daughters, son, and grand kids. AWESOME!!!! I'm so glad that we can all get together every once in awhile. It is so much fun.

So here is my very first blog post what a qudinkydink close to are first anniversary. :) wow early took me a whole year to post 100 posts GEES.

So i am getting married soon August 23rd, and my friend Shannon used to be a photographer and i asked her if she would take my pictures for me, She was honored do them for me. She did a wonderful job. :) and the engagments and bridals turned really nice. There are more then this, but i dont know how to add videos just yet, so bare with me here. i hope you like them.
