So have a PEACH TREE??? To many PEACHES and you dont know what to do with them.... well if you said yes i have a soulution. CAN THEM!!!!!! :) Tuesday night the girls had a can peach day together My Aunt Julene had to many peaches and needed to get rid of them so instead of throwing them away we have Peach Party. Here i was thinking this was going to be VERY BORING and YEAH! well it was fun and nice to spend time with my Aunt and cousins.

The jars are not really that expensive you shop around you aresure to find a good bargin. :)

This looks so good i could just them all up. :)

MMMMMMM so this what we did for like 6 hours. So now when the end is near we will have food in storage so we will not go hungary, i think when we finish them up we still have 4 more bins full we will have about 100 mason jars. :)
2 Monstrously awesome verbiage!:
I love to bottle peaches and my kids love them. The best is making peach cobbler in the winter. Yummy!
Hi Jordann,
Thank you for posting on my 'blog, My Photographic Memories. (I am going to thank you again on my 'blog, too) I am glad your son likes dino's--I was all about dinosaurs as a kid. Hopefully some of that curiosity has been passed along to my grandkids.
Your post on canning peaches made me think of my dad. He grew up with a fig tree in his father's yard, and his mom (my Gran) would can figs every year--tons of them it seemed. When we moved to the house I grew up in, he planted a fig tree from a cutting of his dad's tree in the back yard. I was well out of the house by the time it got large enough to really put on fruit and get enough jars to share among the family. As he got older, he used to tell me he 'made a deal' with the birds. They could have all the figs he couldn't reach, and he would can the ones he could.
Thank you for reminding me of that.
Best regards,
Mike Z
